Dr. Magdi Tawfik Abdelhamid is Associate Professor of National Research centre, Botany Department from 1991 until present. Previously he has been awarded his PhD degree from Gifu University, Japan and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Western Australia. He is expert in “Plant physiology under environmental stresses”. His main concern is increasing crop production, especially in arid areas. Dr. Abdelhamid has authored a large number of articles in reputed journals and has been invited to different international conferences.
